چکیده
Context. The kinematic behaviors of thirteen superluminal components observed at 43 GHz in blazar 3C454.3 are investigated and model-fitted terms the precessing jet-nozzle scenario previously proposed. Aims. In order to search for possible precession periodic ejection 3C454.3, divided into following two groups: group-A group-B. Group-A consists six (B4, B5, K2, K3, K09, K14) group-B seven (B1, B2, B3, B6, K1, K10, K16). Methods. For each component group-B, features (trajectory, core separation, coordinates, apparent velocity versus time) were our scenario, its parameters (bulk Lorentz factor, viewing angle, velocity, Doppler factor derived compared with observations. Results. It is found that may be regarded produced by a double-jet system, consisting jet-A jet-B which ejects respectively. Both jets likely same period ∼10.5 yr (5.6 source frame) modeled time coverages ∼2 ∼1.5 periods, motion these inner-jet regions (core separation ≲0.3–0.5 mas) explained follow common trajectory respective jet-B. recurrence curved pair knots B6 K10 exhibits significant clue as periodicity. Conclusions. analysis explanation entire kinematics might possibly imply hosts supermassive binary black hole, creates relativistic pointing closely toward us small angles.

Supermassive black hole binary mergers
Massive merging black holes will be the primary sources of powerful gravitational waves at low frequency, and will permit to test General Relativity if we identify candidate galaxies that are close to a binary black hole merger. In this paper we show that for a typical range of mass ratios of the two black holes the final stage of the merger is preceded by a rapid precession and a subsequent sp...
متن کاملSupermassive binary black hole mergers
When galaxies collide, dynamical friction drives their central supermassive black holes close enought to each other such that gravitational radiation becomes the leading dissipative effect. Gravitational radiation takes away energy, momentum and angular momentum from the compact binary, such that the black holes finally merge. In the process, the spin of the dominant black hole is reoriented. O...
متن کاملA Compact Supermassive Binary Black Hole System
We report on the discovery of a supermassive binary black hole system in the radio galaxy 0402+379, with a projected separation between the two black holes of just 7.3 pc. This is the closest black hole pair yet found by more than two orders of magnitude. These results are based upon recent multi-frequency observations using the Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) which reveal two compact, variable...
متن کاملOrbital motion in the radio galaxy 3C 66B: evidence for a supermassive black hole binary.
Supermassive black hole binaries may exist in the centers of active galactic nuclei such as quasars and radio galaxies, and mergers between galaxies may result in the formation of supermassive binaries during the course of galactic evolution. Using the very-long-baseline interferometer, we imaged the radio galaxy 3C 66B at radio frequencies and found that the unresolved radio core of 3C 66B sho...
متن کاملSpectroscopic Evidence for a Supermassive Black Hole in Ngc 4486b
The stellar kinematics of the low-luminosity elliptical galaxy NGC 4486B have been measured in seeing σ∗ = 0. 22 with the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) and Subarcsecond Imaging Spectrograph. Lauer and collaborators have shown that NGC 4486B is similar to M31 in having a double nucleus. Here we show that it also resembles M31 in its kinematics. Like M31, NGC 4486B rotates fairly rapidly ...
